This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application BabyLook – Your pocket nanny(“App”) which is operated by viv Limited, 840 Apollo St El Segundo, CA 90245 United States (“BabyLook” or “we”).

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing and use of your personal data, when you use our App, and explains our practices with respect to the placement of Cookies, include the type if cookies we use and how you can manage them.

1.Collection, Processing and Use of our App

1.1.Registration & Usage of our App

In order to use our App you most register an account with us. During the registration process you will be asked to provide certain information, such as your first name, email address and your baby's estimated or actual date of birth, and to choose a password. If you do not register an account you cannot use the App's contents.

The registration process takes place via a protected server connection to BabyLook. In case you decide to use other services offered by us, such as where you register for a customer account on our website or contact us with a specific request through our websites, we may create one single record for you which combines the data we receive from you through your use of these other services with the data we receive from you through your use of the App.

This single record helps us to better understand your needs and preferences in order to efficiency provide you with the requested products and preferences in order to efficiently provide you with the requested products and services, including enable you to benefit from a more personalized experience.

We will not use such data for providing you with direct marketing communications, except where you have given your express prior consent (such as in the course of your newsletter registration). Other than as indicated in the Privacy Policy, we will not use the information for any other purposes or share the information with third parties, except where expressly permitted or required by applicable law.

You may be provided with the possibility to register for our email newsletter through the App. Your registration is free. When registering for our newsletter, you further consent that your usage of our newsletter, such as email-opens and email-clicks, email forwarding, undeliverable emails and unsubscribe, may be tracked by BabyLook using analytics tools provided by our technical services operated from the USA. In addition, our service providers offer similar tools to help us managing the newsletter subscription and marketing services.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, and withdraw your consent with effect for the future, by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter emails you received or by sending an email to the contact details.

1.5. Data We Collect Through Automated Means

System data: technical data about your computer or device, like your IP address, device type, operating system type and version, unique device identifiers, browser, browser language, domain and other systems data, and platform types. Approximate geographic data calculated based in your IP address.

Usage data: usage statistics about your interactions with the services, including page accessed, time spent on pages of the application, features used, click data, date and time, and other data regarding your use of the application. We also use Google Analytics (or other analytics providers) to help us understand the use of our website and applications.

1.6. How We Use Your Data

To send you push notifications through our App. For instance, if you’ve asked to receive push notifications for children profile updates vis our App, or eventually for important account or service updates. You may at any time opt-out from receiving these types of communications by turning them off at the device level through your settings.

For billing, account management and other administrative matters: we may need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons and we use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.

To produce anonymized statistical data about children that might be used for our services, or for other purposes. For instance, statistic about baby sleep, feeding, growth based on various criteria (gender, age, etc.).

Customer support: we use your information to resolve technical issues you encounter, to respond to your requests for assistance, to analyze crash information, and to repair and improve the services.

To investigate and help prevent security issues, fraud and abuse: we use information about you and your service use to verify accounts and activity, to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity and to identify violations of service policies.

2.Cookie and Tracking & Analysis Tools

We use and preserve Cookie and Analysis Tools for better accessibility. In addition, we obtain your personal data except your personal information via using technique of Cookie or JavaScript.

3.1.2. Content you provide through our products: the services include the BabyLook web and App you use, where we collect and store content that you save and share. This content includes any information about you that you may choose to include, for instance all entries you save using the App: diaper change, feeding data, sleeping sessions, photos, message, etc.

3.1.3. Information you provide through our support channels: if you submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing you are experiencing with the App to our customer support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.


BabyLook takes reasonable step to protect personally identifiable information as you transmit it to our site and protect such information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Employee access to personally identifying information is restricted to situations in which that information is needed on order to troubleshoot, operate, develop or improve our services.

You must protect your password to prevent unauthorized third parties from accessing your account. In addition, if third parties have access to the computer you use to access your account, you must sign out of your account when you are finished to ensure protection of information.

Although, most changes are likely to be minor, BabyLook may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in BabyLook’s sole discretion. BabyLook encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
